Ishita Bora: “Nakshatra – Shooting the Stars” presents eco-friendly Diwali celebrations on the river banks of Brahmaputra on November 13, 14, and 15, 2020 by Feel Northeast campsite.
On November 13 (yesterday), they organized astro photography event, where the Chief Guest was Mr. Gautam Deka, the photographer from Mangaldai, along with 15-20 photographers. And on November 14 and 15, they are organizing camping and music events.
The schedule includes – night photography; camping, bonfire, and music; LIVE band; ethnic food and drinks; and many more.
Located in Nature’s Nest Eco Camp, Chanaka, Mayong (near Pobitara), the event is providing meals as well as tents.
In conversation with Hello Guwahati, the organizer Chintumani Deka said:
“We are organizing this event for the first time this year but we are planning to continue this every year like Weekender in different locations so that people of different places can enjoy.”
Deka added:
“From the next year, we will organize it in a big way and the main focus is on photography and musical events. And for transportation, we have a logistics partner named Donniez Safari.”
Thus, after Diwali, they are planning to open a resort at Dambuk, Arunachal Pradesh as “Nature’s Nest Eco Camp” and also at Jowai, Meghalaya and Shergaon (between Nepal and Tawang area) in the near future.
