Guwahati News Desk: The second phase of Exercise Malabar 2020 has begun in the Northern Arabian Sea. The first phase of Exercise Malabar was conducted earlier as a joint operation between the navies of India, Australia, the United States, and Japan.
In this phase, the joint operation will take between the Vikramaditya Carrier Battle Group of the Indian Navy and Nimitz Carrier Strike Group of the United States Navy
In this high-intensity naval operation, two carriers, submarine, aircraft, and other ships will be engaged over the next four days. In the operation cross-deck flying operation and advanced air defense by MIG 29K fighters of Vikramaditya and F-18 fighters and E2C Hawkeye from Nimitz to exercise in the joint operation.
However, along with its advanced surface and anti-submarine warfare to be included in the exercise, weapon firing, and seamanship evolutions will be carried out by the navies of the four nations during the joint operation.
