Guwahati News Desk: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been appointed as the state icon of Punjab. Sood was appointed by Election Commission as the Chief Electoral Officer made the announcement in Tweeter, “The real hero of people is now the state icon of Punjab – Sonu Sood.”
Sood was known for his super hit movie Dabaang where he won hearts with his negative role. He also helped several migrants to reach home due to the lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic. The actor too arranged food and shelter for the people.
Earlier, Penguin Random House India had made an announcement to make an autobiography on Sonu Sood and his experience during the pandemic helping out the people to travel which will be co-written by Meena Iyer titled ‘I Am No Messiah’.
