Guwahati News Desk: New 1,68,912 COVID-19 cases were reported in India in the last 24 hours raising the tally to 1,35,27,717.
During the last six consecutive days, India reported more than 1 lakh COVID-19 cases as the country is hit by the second wave.
According to the Health Ministry, 904 more people succumbing to the disease as the total death toll touches 1,70,179.
Due to the increasing COVID-19 cases, India soon overtakes Brazil and become the second most COVID-19 affected country in the world.
