Guwahati News Desk: The Delhi Traffic Police has fixed the speed limits of motor vehicles in the national capital on Friday.
The notification was issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Traffic Police for the citizens with the revised maximum speed limits for various types of vehicles on the roads of New Delhi.
The updated speed limits will come into effect on an immediate basis.
The maximum speed limits on most roads, highways and flyovers are 50 to 70 km per hours for M1 category vehicles i.e. cars, jeep, taxi and other app-based cabs.
The same vehicles will take to reduce their speed limit to 30 km/hr in all the minor roads inside residential areas, commercial markers and service roads.
For motorbikes, scooters etc the maximum speed limit on most roads, highways and flyover at 50-60 km/hr as the same vehicles need to maintain fixed at 30 km/hr in all minor roads, residential roads including service and commercial markets areas.
