Guwahati News Desk: On the completion of four years of State Cancer Institute at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital a New Radiation Oncology Block with Tomotherapy was inaugurated by State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday.
The newly equipt machine was the first in Northeast India which is high-end radiation therapy machine worth Rs 28.6 crore.
Health Minister said two more such machines will be added very soon in the hospital.
