Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal launched an official website (www.muoc.ac.in) of Majuli University of Culture at Majuli district on Friday.
During the inauguration ceremony of the official launched of website, a presentation was also made regarding the various available courses to be taught in the university.
The Majuli University of Culture was established for specific research, teaching and education in the field of culture under Majuli University of Culture Bill 2017 which was passed by the Government of Assam in the year 2017.
MUOC is the first cultural university of Assam which was built at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore.
