Guwahati News Desk: Violating ceasefire, Pakistani troops on Saturday initiated sluttish firing and mortar shelling on civilian areas along the Line of Control and the International border in J&K.
There are no immediate report of casualty.
A defence spokesman said, “At about 1.30am, Pakistan initiated unprovoked cease-fire violation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars, targeting civilian areas along the LoC in Makote sector of Poonch. The Indian Army retaliated befittingly”.
