Guwahati News Desk: The Greater Guwahati unit of the North East India Petroleum Dealers Association (NEIPDA) has called for 48-hours petrol pumps closure in Guwahati City from October 22 to October 24.
According to the sources, the petrol pump to remain closed from 6 am of October 22 to 6 am of October 24.
The petrol pump closure to come into force with the demands provided by the association having several issues pertaining to the petroleum trade.
The association has raised 10-point as a demand relating to various issue focusing the petroleum dealership business.
The association demands are Placement of TTs under EOI, Frequent Refusal of Contractors to load TTs at their whims, Entry of dealer/RO staff to escort the TT from the TOP TT parking area, Illegal deduction from SAP accounts, Forceful selling of Lubricants by HPCL, Unauthorized and faulty Automation, Blending of Ethanol, Inequal Credit Facility, Personal Information upload in enlarger and Legal position of the OMCs vis-a-vis the dealer.
The demands that has been placed by the North East India Petroleum Dealers Association by holding 48-hours shut down of oil pumps across Guwahati as the manufacturing companies is about to react to the demand.
