Guwahati News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Assam to inaugurate newly built cancer at the Assm Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh on April 28.
PM Modi will inaugurate six other cancer hospitals in Assam virtually on the same day and to lay the foundation for the newly sanctioned seven cancer hospital in Assam.
PM Modi visit to Assam was conformed by the Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Saram on Sunday.
Before PM visit to Dibrugarh, CM Sarma inspected the newly constructed building of cancer hospital in AMCH along with the other cabinet ministers. During the inspection visit CM holds meeting with other members on various topics including the inauguration of the newly built Cancer Hospital.
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Inspected Cancer Hospital being built at Dibrugarh under Cancer Care Foundation. It will be inaugurated by Adarniya PM Shri @narendramodi ji on April 28. From Dibrugarh. Hon’ble PM will inaugurate 7 Cancer Hospitals out of 10 in Assam & lay the foundation for 7 more Cancer Hospitals.”
“I also reviewed the finishing touches being given to the hospital with doctors & construction engineers. Held a meeting with Dibrugarh DC & other State Govt officials and asked them to take all steps to make the PM’s visit a grand success.”
