Guwahati News Desk: Due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the State, the administration of Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary at Morigaon was shut down with immediate effect including the movement of tourists.
Earlier, Manas National Park and Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) were closed down for tourists for rising cases.
It was also suspected that the virus can transmit from humans to animals. The administration will share updated notifications regarding the resuming of the national park.
