Guwahati News Desk: Prominent Litterateur Lakshmi Nandan Bora passes away due to COVID-19 at Excel Care Hospital in Guwahati on Thursday.
Lakshmi Nandan Bora has earlier tested positive for COVID-19 and admitted on May 20.
He was undergoing treatment for heart, diabetes and blood sugar too.
Lakshmi Nandan Bora was born at Kudijah village in Nagaon district in the year 1932.
Bora completed his schooling at Nagaon High School and graduated in Physics from Cotton College State University earlier, known as Cotton College.
Later, he completed his MSc from Presidency College of Kolkata.
Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma consoled the death of a prominent writer and instructed the authorities to perform his last rites with full honour.
