Guwahati News Desk: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the dedicated COVID Hospital set up at Sarusajai in Guwahati on Friday.
The 316 bed COVID hospital was build-up by the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) in collaboration with the government of Assam which will help the State in its fight against the Pandemic.
Earlier this morning, Singh visited Kamakhya temple in Nilachal Hill to seek prayers.
The Union Minister earlier inaugurated new roads in the Arunachal-Assam border in Lakhimpur district on Thursday where Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu was present in the ceremony.
Rajnath Singh has ended his two-day visit in Assam as he flew off to the national capital from Indian Air Force Station at Borjhar in Guwahati.
