Guwahati News Desk: To curb the increasing numbers in covid19 infections in Sri Lanka, the health authorities on Friday ordered closure of bars, restaurants, casinos, nightclubs and spas.
The cluster of infections till date mounted to 1,053, with more than 2,000 more people asked to quarantine at home.
According to reports, the first covid case in the latest cluster is a garment worker at a factory. The government imposed curfew in the area where the patient lives; closing down schools, public offices and public gatherings as well.
Sri Lanka has reported 4,459 infections and 13 deaths.
