Guwahati News Desk: The teenager who recorded the death of George Floyd on phone will be honoured by PEN America in December.
17 year old Darnella Frazier will be presented the PEN/Benenson Courage Award by PEN America, a literary and human rights organisation.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, PEN annual gala had been postponed from May 19 to December, the event will be hosted digitally.
George Floyd, an African American was allegedly killed during an arrest by Minneapolis Police on May 25.
