Guwahati News Desk: Tezpur University alumni Monita Chetri from Duliajan committed suicide on Tuesday morning.
She wrote a status in the social networking site regarding her life where she mentioned about her life and not being lucky to have an honest and faithful husband. She has been facing domestic violence and mental torture as mentioned in the status.
People commented on the post published by Chetri before committing suicide mentioning Assam Police and higher authorities to investigate the matter.
Her husband must be punished.
