Guwahati News Desk: Prime minister Prayuth Chan-ocha rejected calls for his resignation on Friday as his government stresses to stop student-led protesters from rallying in the capital for a second day amid emergency restrictions.

Police closed roads and put up barricades around a major Bangkok intersection where the protesters have pledged to gather and push their core demands. Which includes PM’s resignation, the constitution be amended and the nation’s monarchy undergo reform.
