Guwahati News Desk: KKR team CEO Venky Mysore confirms on Friday that Dinesh Karthik has stepped down as captain and handed over the reins to Eoin Morgan hours before the IPL match against Mumbai Indians in Dubai.
The Wicketkeeper-batsman, Karthik (35) was appointed skipper in 2018 and led KKR in 37 matches; later he clears the team that he wants to focus on his batting and contribute more to the team’s cause.
