Guwahati News Desk: Two passengers travelling from Kerela by train were found COVID-19 positive by the Health Department at Jagiroad on Sunday.
The passengers were identified as Rakibur and Abdula who were travelling to Lahorighat and Moirabari in the Morigaon district.
The passengers were shifted to home quarantine by the health officials. The two positive cases have created a tense situation in Jagiroad as the COVID-19 cases were increasing in the state in the second wave of coronavirus which already hits the nation hard.
