Guwahati News Desk: A massive incident took place at Union Bank of India at Shahdara branch after a few allegedly looted 55 lakh cash in Delhi, says police officials on Monday.
According to the sources, the thieves entered the bank by digging hole in the bank wall of an under construction building next to it.
All the cash has been taken away that were collected by the bank from the depositors on Friday and Saturday as all the materials inside lockers and jewellery were found safe which were kept in the other part of the bank.
Police officials on Monday arrived in the Union Bank branch to examining the hole of the thieves that were drilled by the thieves to make their way inside the bank using under a construction building wall.
The bank CCTV camera has caught one of the thieves as according to the police officials many people were involved in the thief.
