Guwahati News Desk: At least three drug peddlers were arrested by Dhubri Police at Chapor’s Roumari in Dhubri district on Monday night.
During the search operation, Dhubri Police successfully seized huge numbers of drugs including cash from them.
The accused has been identified as Majnur Haque, Mafaser Haque and their mother Mariam Bibi who were taken to custody as FIR have been registered for further investigation.
22 grams of drugs, 30 tablets including cash worth Rs 2670 seized from the accused. A group of Chapar police and the operational team led by sub-divisional police officer Bhargavmoni Das successfully completed the operation by arresting the smugglers.
According to the sub-divisional officers, police are continuing their search operation as more details will be disclosed.
