Guwahati News Desk: Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP Tirath Singh Rawat has taken the oath as the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand on Wednesday.
He replaces Trivendra Singh Rawat who had stepped down from the Chief Minister post on Tuesday after completion of four years in the state.
Tirath Singh Rawat was the BJP MP from the Pauri constituency and earlier he was the chief of the party in Uttarakhand in the year 2013-15 and also the MLA from the state in the past.
