Guwahati News Desk: A truck driver and handyman of a truck carrying Amul products from Guwahati City to Silchar was missing as both fled from the scene.
A truck carrying Rs 36 lakhs worth of Amul products was recovered at Uriagaon along the Nagaon bypass in Assam.
According to the sources, the truck bearing registration number AS-01FC-9336 had left from CTA Logistics Limited of Azara on September 21 as later the agency failed to reach out to the driver named Hussain Ahmed of Karimganj.
Soon after the incident, the authorities of CTA Logistics Limited registered a complaint at Azara Police Station.
Later on Saturday, the same truck was found along the Nagaon bypass. According to the police report, the goods of Amul products that we’re carried in the truck have been suspected to be sold off by the absconding driver and handyman.
A case has been registered against the duo by the agency to find out the a total reason leaving the truck in the bypass of Nagaon.
