Guwahati News Desk: Popular TV actor Ashiesh Roy passed away at his residence on Tuesday.
The 55-year-old actor was undergoing regular dialysis since May due to kidney ailments and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) in the hospital. He was facing a financial crisis and asked for help via social media.
Roy worked in popular daily soap ‘Sasural Simar Ka‘ telecasted on Colors. In the late ’90s, Roy made an active contribution of his acting in movies such as ‘MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar‘ and Emraan Hashmi starring ‘Raja Natwarlal‘.
