Guwahati News Desk: At least two persons were arrested by Dhubri Police and recovered fake Indian currency of Rs 2 lakh.
The fake currency was seized from Binnschara near the India-Bangladesh international border in Dhubri district as 400 numbers of Rs 500 fake currency were seized by police officials.
Dhubri Police led by Dhubri Additional Superintendent of Police Rosyrani Sarma launched a search operation in collaboration with Border Security Forces (BSF) and intercepted Binnachara village near the international border and booked two for illegally running fake currency business.
The accused were identified as Hussain Ali resident of Binnachara village and Moslem Ali resident of Baladoba village in Dhubri district.
