Guwahati News Desk: Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Delhi Heart and Lung Institute on Tuesday.
Dr Harsh Vardhan urges people to come forward for vaccination and make it a mass movement. He also asked people not to believe in the rumours regarding the vaccine.
After his vaccination, Vardhan took the issue on focus as few positive cases were found after getting vaccinated as they are an aberration and should not be a cause of concern for people at large.
The vaccination provides protection to the people and reduce the chance of getting admitted to hospital, added Vardhan.
Health Ministry to provide COVID-19 vaccines to the people above 45 years from April 1 as more than 50 thousand vaccination centres are made available across the nation.
