Guwahati News Desk: Democratic candidate Joe Biden have won the 2020 United States Presidential Elections on Saturday over Donald Trump.
Biden gained more than 270 electoral votes while Trump got 214 electoral votes.
Biden beats Donald Trump to be the 46th President of United States. Whereas,Kamala Harris to be the first women Vice President, first black and first South Asian to hold the position.
Biden, 77 is all set to step in the White House as former President Trump has already left the White House this morning.
Thanking Americans, newly elected President on his Tweet wrote, “America I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.
The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.
I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”
