Guwahati News Desk: A loaded vehicle with illegal timbers were detected and seized by the Beat Officer in Rangia on Wednesday.
The vehicle was seized at the time when forest personnel intercepted the vehicle while coming from BTAD and later it was taken under safe custody of the department.
Another vehicle carrying illegal swan timbers detected and seized in Lewbari area in Goalpara district on Tuesday evening.
The cases have been registered against the offenders.
