Guwahati News Desk: A 33-year-old head constable Seema Dhaka from Delhi Police was felicitated by Delhi Police Commissioner S N Shrivastava on Wednesday for rescuing 56 children’s in three months.
Seema holds up multiple child missing investigation cases as she successfully tracing missing children during a short time. Recently Seema Dhaka moved to Debra village of West Bengal to track down a 7-year-old child who was reported to be missing from Aman Vihar in New Delhi.
Seema successfully traced 56 children below 14 years in just three months and handed over to their parents. She also tracked down 20 children of the age group of 14 to 16.
Seema Dhaka who originally hails from Baghpat of Uttar Pradesh married to a police official joined Delhi Police in the year 2006 who was later promoted to assistant sub-inspector. Seema travelled in various place like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal, Noida and Gurgaon for investigation of missing children since 2013.
During her investigation, she rescued a 15-year-old girl from Tigri Dham in Almora who was kidnapped and forced to marry a man whom she later had two children. The girl was always locked in the house and not even given proper food.
