Guwahati News Desk: A tragic incident took place when a 14-year-old girl was murdered at Uzan Bazaar in Guwahati on Wednesday.
According to the sources, the victim was identified as Dimple Kumawat who was a class 8 student at Angels of God High School.
According to the sources, the incident took place between 11 am to 1 pm, she was hit with a pressure cooker and also kitchen tools suspected to be pestle i.e. used for grinding.
At the time of the incident, her parents went out for marketing in the morning and Dimple was alone at home.
Soon after the incident was reported, Latashil Police officials immediately rushed on the spot to take a stock of it as the suspect has not been identified yet. Police officials have started their investigation as the matter is underway.
