Guwahati News Desk: Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed scooters to bright girl students of Higher Secondary Examination in Guwahati on Wednesday.
Government of Assam distributed 15,160 scooters in the second phase of Dr Banikanta Merit Award. A total of 15,160 girl students were selected on the merit basis from Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) batch 2018 and 10,132 were selected from the batch of 2009.
