Guwahati News Desk: Dibrugarh forest officials successfully rescued a two-year-old female leopard from Jalan Tea Estate in Dibrugarh district on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the leopard got trapped in the tea estate and could not get out, so nearby people and tea workers immediately informed the forest officials about the leopard. They however, rushed on the spot and successfully rescued the leopard by putting a cage inside the tea garden on Tuesday night and later she got trapped inside the iron case. No major and minor injury was reported to be seen in the body of the leopard.

Currently, the leopard was kept under observation and treated by a Veterinary doctor. According to the sources, in the past few days, the tea workers feared to go for work in the garden after a leopard was spotted in the tea garden.
