Guwahati News Desk: At least 10 people were killed in a massive fire incident that took place at Sunrise Hospital at Bhandup West in Mumbai of Maharashtra last night.
The fire broke out on the first floor of the Dreams Mall and later affected the Sunrise Hospital located on the top of the building.
70 patients were immediately evacuated from the building as all the patients were reported to be COVID patients.
Mumbai fire brigade immediately rushed on the spot to control the situation as the rescue operation is still going on.
“Cause of the fire is yet not known as I have seen it for the first time that a hospital is situated at the mall. I will direct an immediate order to take action against the hospital authorities. All 70 COVID-19 patients shifted to another hospital”, says Mumbai Mayor.
