Guwahati News Desk: A total of 5,803 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported and 77 people died in the last 24 hours.
Today, 72,197 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the State. Kamrup Metro alone reported 1,481 new positive cases as the active cases tally reaches 37,500.
Whereas Dibrugarh reported 392 new cases, Nagaon with 275 cases and Kamrup Rural with 486 cases as the positivity rate of the State hit 8.04 per cent.
