Guwahati News Desk: Three persons were arrested from Hyderabad Airport in an iPhone smuggling case in Hyderabad.
Over 80 iPhones seized by Hyderabad Custom officials worth Rs 1 crore.
According to the sources, Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of iPhones against two passengers who arrived by flight G9-458 from Sharjah City of United Arab Emirates.
The other person who organised the whole smuggling of iPhones arrested by customs officials.
All the smuggled goods were seized under the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962.
The customs officials also seized cash among Rs 4 lakh from one of the persons as further investigation is under process.
