Guwahati News Desk: A total of eighty-two MBBS students were tested positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra’s Sangli on Wednesday.

In addition, the cases were reported from the Government Medical College in Sangli’s Miraj area.

According to sources, apart from the 82 students who tested positive, even two of the staff members also tested positive for the virus.

Moreover, it was the dean of the institute, Dr. Sudhir Nanandkar, who had informed earlier that the infection was reported in one section of the hostel where students used to gather for meals.

Furthermore, with the current increasing rate of the Covid positive patients the people along with the government should sternly do its bit to prevent the Covid-19 scenario from worsening any further.
