Guwahati News Desk: In a joint operation the Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police seized 90 gm of heroin from the Zokhawthar-Melbuk area.
During the operation, one person was arrested from the Chanphai district on Monday.
Meanwhile, a Chinese origin Kenbo bike and air rifle were also seized.
One person arrested by the officials in connection with the seizure of the heroin worth Rs 7 lakh.
On the other hand, the areca nuts worth Rs 51.52 lakh were smuggled from neighbouring nation Myanmar in the international market.
