Guwahati News Desk: The All Assam Tourism Students Union (AATSU) has organised an event where the union had promoted the lesser know place Parvati Pahar situated in the hills of Boko as a tourist destination in Assam on the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2021 on Tuesday.
Based on the theme “Tourism for Inclusive Growth” the AATSU has taken a massive initiative to promote the Parvati Pahar tourism destination which is around 67 km from Guwahati above the hills of Boko which is booked itself as a perfect attraction destination for the tourist for tracking and photography.
On the occasion of Tourism Day, the students union visited the destination and reviewed the destination by its history and why it should be added as a destination spot in Assam. During the event, it was also discussed to make all necessary steps to promote the lesser-known place among the tourist so that one can visit the place.
While speaking to the Chief Adviser of the All Assam Tourism Students Union Bishal Kumar Baruah with Hello Guwahati said, “We have taken an initiative to add the Parvati Pahar tourism destination to including in the list of India Tourism and Assam Tourism catalogue so that the tourism destination gets national attention among the visitors.”
The development of the tourism spot will play a vital role in developing the nearby village both economically and socially.
The event was supported by Blue Sky, Tour Operators Associations of Assam, All Assam Hospitality Workers Association, Hotel, and Restaurant Association of Assam, All Assam Restaurant Association, Care U 365, Guwahati City Development Association, The Youths Mind, Dorabeel Tourism, Rongmon Tourism, and Chandubi Tourism Development Society.
