Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Agriculture Department has come up with 3,000 vacant posts in the department as announced on Saturday.
According to the sources, the vacancy is a part of the promise to provide one lakh job in a year by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)- led alliance government.
The Agriculture Minister of Assam Atul Bora said, “There are around 3,000 vacant posts in the department as some of the posts are for – agriculture development officers, junior engineers, village-level extension workers, Grade III and Grade IV workers”.
The agriculture department soon to start the process of filling up the vacancies which will strengthen the department and also benefit the unemployed youths.
According to the sources, the administration has already arranged the number of vacant posts in the deputy commissioners offices.
