Guwahati News Desk: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda has appointed sitting MLA of Assam Bhabesh Kalita as new State President of Assam on Saturday.
In an officials notification released by BJP has written, “BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed Bhabesh Kalita, MLA as State President of Assam BJP”.
Bhabesh Kalita will replace the current Ranjeet Kumar Dass who recently become a cabinet minister in the newly formed government of the State led by Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Bhabesh Kalita is a two time MLA from the Rangiya.
