Guwahati News Desk: Government of India has issued a notification for states and UTs may consider imposing restrictions in public gatherings during celebration of upcoming Holi, Bihu, Easter, Shab-e-Barat and Eid-ul-Fitr, etc with immediate effect due to increasing cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
More than 45 thousand new COVID-19 cases were reported in India in the last 24 hours.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday.
