Guwahati News Desk: The traffic route has been changed for the visit of Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu in Guwahati City on Sunday.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic of Guwahati has issued road guidelines for various routes has been issued for Sunday.
The movement of all heavy vehicles on the National Highway 36 and 27 was restricted from 8 am to 9 pm on October 3 and 5 am to 12 noon of October 4 in Guwahati City.
On October 3, no commercial vehicles, small/medium/heavy shall ply on DG Road, MG Road, FC Road, Taybullah Road, GNB Road, B Boruah Road, GS Road, Panjabari Road from 6 pm onwards.
On October 3, all vehicles coming from Bharalumukh side towards Chandmari will be diverted through Jasawanta Road towards Hem Baruah Road and then towards NCB Hall to Chandmari.
All kinds of vehicles coming from the Uzanbazar side towards Machkhowa side will be diverted at DC Court point towards Commissioner point to MG Road via Hem Baruah Road and JC Road (Phool Gali).
