Guwahati News Desk: Death toll rises to 56 and wounded around 194 people after a suicide bomber struck inside a mosque at Peshawar in Pakistan on Friday.
The blast took place near the border area neighbouring Afghanistan as no militant group has immediately claimed for the attack.
Soon after the violence fire brigade and ambulance rushed on the tiny roads to control the massive situation.
Soon after the attack Peshawar Police Chief Muhammed Ejaz Khan said toe armed attackers started open firing on the police outside the mosque as one attacker including one police officials were killed in the shootout and another officer received injuries.
The another attacker rushed inside the mosque during prayed time as people offering Namaz on Friday and detonated the bomb.
According to the sources, the bomb was so powerful that hits the wave across the city and immediately taking life. The injured were immediately rushes to the nearest hospital for treatment.
