Guwahati News Desk: Two women drug peddlers were arrested by Kamrup Police near the Assam-Meghalaya border on Saturday.
Police officials seized illicit drugs worth Rs 3.5 crore which includes 96,350 Yaba tables and 2 kg brown sugar.
The estimated cost of the recovered drugs is worth Rs 3.5 crore and also seized a cash of Rs 3.70 lakh.
According to the sources, the arrested women deals with drugs and cash as their identities were not revealed for investigation.
These women have been running a huge drug network as Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said ”a huge dent” has been made in the drug network.
