Guwahati News Desk: A 45-year-old man travelled 280 km on his bicycle during the lockdown to get medicines for his son with special needs.
Anand travelled to the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru from Mysuru on his bicycle.
The resident of Ganiganakoppalu came out from the home to purchase medicines on May 23 at late night, after reaching Banashankadi he took shelter and food which was provided by the locals.
Later on the next day, he met the doctor at NIMHAMS to purchase medicines and returned on the next day.
He reached home successfully without any barriers in the road.
