Guwahati News Desk: A father and a son was killed in a massive accident that took place at Besimari in Darrang district on Thursday.
According to the sources, the duo travelling on a Bolero Pick up having registration number AS-06-AC-6981, traveling from Pasighat of Arunachal Pradesh to Barpeta hits a truck bearing registration number AS-25-BC-0810.
The truck full of the gas cylinder was parked at the time of the accident.
The father and son were in the loading compartment in the Bolero pick up while travelling. The driver of the pick-up was seriously injured in the accident and later admitted to the nearest hospital.
The cause of the accident is said to be that the pickup driver lost his control and later hits the truck.
