Guwahati News Desk: Dhubri Police on Tuesday seized a huge quantity of smuggled woods during a raid conducted by Bhargab Muni Das, APA, SPDO of Bilasipara.
The owner detected as Chittaranjan Nath was running illegal saw mill which is later sealed and the recovered woods were handed over to the forest department at Salkocha
In a separate operation, CI Chapar of Dhubri police carried out a raid at Ravapara and recovered illicit liquor.
On the other hand, Golakganj Police Station successfully seized tobacco which was transported stealthily at Nandinipar in Dhubri.
