Guwahati News Desk: Indian Railways has created a record by delivering 26 thousand 281 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to fifteen States across the nation during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the delivery of Medical Oxygen, a total of 376 Oxygen Expresses have completed their mission.
The fifteen States where the Oxygen Express reached us are Assam, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Telangana, Punjab, Kerala, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.
The Medical Oxygen were carried out from Baroda, Mundra, Hapa, Rourkela, Durgapur, Tatanagar, Angul etc.
The mission to deliver LMO was started on April 24 in Maharashtra.
Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka received more than three thousand tonnes of LMO.
