Guwahati News Desk: New 2,228 COVID-19 positive cases were reported as active cases reach 49,518 on Sunday.

Today, 73,648 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the State and 37 people died.

Kamrup Metro alone reported 309 new positive cases with 3 death.

Whereas Cachar reported 281 new cases, Dibrugarh with 170 cases and Tinsukia with 196 cases as the positivity rate of the State reduce to 3.03 per cent.

4,076 people recovered from COVID-19 as the recovery rate reaches 87.46 per cent.
