Ishita Bora, Guwahati: Steamed Chicken is a healthy method of cooking chicken because no additional spice is used. In this article, I will tell you how to make steamed chicken with the help of aluminium foil (foil paper) in the easiest way.
- Chicken – 250 gm
- Aluminium foil – to wrap the chicken
- Onion (thinly sliced) – 1
- Ginger (chopped) – a few
- Garlic (chopped) – 5 to 6 chunks
- Mustard Oil – few drops
- Green and red chillies (chopped) – 2
- Salt – to taste
First, keep the chicken on a bowl and add the onion, ginger, garlic, and green chillies into the chicken. Add a few drops of mustard oil and salt. Then, mix all of them well with a hand.
Now, open the aluminium foil, put all the mixtures on the foil, and wrap them up properly so that nothing comes out.
Pour some water (1 cup) on a pressure cooker and keep a cooker stand inside it. Now, put the wrapped chicken over the cooker stand and close the pressure cooker with the lid. Put the flame on high and let it cook. After 2 whistles, put the flame on low and let it whistle for 2 more times (total 4 whistles). And then take out the items out of the cooker once it cools down.
